May is National Bike Month 🚴‍♂️

Did you know that 40% of all errands run in a car in the U.S. and they happen within a two mile radius from home.

Did you know that for each mile you drive it cost you about $795 annually.

that being said, it make bicycling a cheap, eco-friendly and fun way to get to work, stop by the post office, pick up groceries, or stop by the dry cleaners. Think about all the money you would save on gas, maintenance, tires, and more.

Cycling is an aerobic activity, which means that it will get your heart pumping giving your lungs a great working and will improve your overall fitness level. On average, cycling burns between 400 and 1000 calories an hour.

May 17th is National Bike to work day, so if you live close enough, join in!!!

If it has been a few years since you biked, don't worry, picking it back up is "as easy as riding a bike", so pull it out storage, dust it off and hop back on! :)

If you don't have a bike, take some time this month to try a spin class, or even just bike at the gym!
