INGREDIENTS:

2 Pork Chops Bone-In 1/2 Sweet Onion (sliced)

6 oz Mushrooms (sliced)

2 Tbsp Olive Oil

1/2 tsp Black Pepper

1/2 Tsp Garlic Powder

Salt to Taste

DIRECTIONS: Season both sides of the pork generously with the pepper, garlic powder and salt. Heat olive oil in a sauce and once the pan is hot add the onions. Sprink a pinch of pepper over the onion and sauté for about 5-8 minutes or until almost cooked. Add the mushrooms and continue cooking until mushrooms start to water. Set the onion and mushroom mixture aside.

In the hot pan add the pork in, you may need to add just a drop more olive oil at this point it is completely up to you. Cook the pork on for about 5 minutes or until golden brown and flip. Continue to cook for an additional 3 minutes. Add the mushroom and onion mixture back into the pan and continue to cook for 3-4 minutes or until the pork has an internal temperature of 140°. Serve immediately and enjoy! *We selected to go with a side of steamed edamame but feel free to go with whichever veggie side you prefer.
