Honey Garlic Chicken Breast
Something quick and easy you can prepare this dish in under 40 min.
Take about 400 g (1 lb) chicken breast (or thighs) and season it liberally with salt and pepper on both sides and place in a well greased 9 x 9 baking pan.
Pre-heat the oven to 425° F (219° C). Be sure to check it for extra pots and pans before popping it on! :-)
In a small bowl combine:
2 Tbsp Olive Oil
2 Tbsp Seasoned Mustard
1/2 Garlic Bulb Minced
2 Tbsp Dried Red Peppers Minced
1/4 Tsp Cayenne Pepper
1/4 Tsp Garlic Powder
1/4 Tsp Onion Powder
Mix it all together and then brush it ALL on top of the chicken in the pan.
Once the oven is preheated pop it in and let it cook for about 35 min or until the chicken is 165° inside.
If you want to crisp up the top a little more, put it on broiler for a couple of minutes. This dish is shown served with cauliflower rice, but feel free to change up the veg and sides!
